Traditional Kitchens.
For many, nothing beats the appeal of a traditional oak kitchen.
The traditional kitchen has been around now since the Victorian times, and they are often more suited to the older style properties.
The traditional kitchen is often full of wooden finishes, pale colours and classic patterns.
The traditional or ‘country’ kitchen depicts those featured in a farm house or featured in an old-fashioned cottage.
However traditional kitchens can be made in a whole range of different styles, materials and detailing to achieve that bespoke kitchen look.
The traditional kitchen can have a lot of real wood finishes, with pale colours that coordinate and run throughout the kitchen.
Cream and grey colours are popular choices, coupled with granite back splashes and classic tiles are also common in a traditional kitchen.
The cooker is, of course, the centrepiece of most Kitchens and can be enhanced by the extractor hood or canopy.
This kind of kitchen remains popular and for good reason, traditional style kitchens never seem to go out of fashion.
The ceramic sink is another “must have” in a traditional kitchen. These did go out of fashion but have now returned with many modern day variations to suit today’s lifestyle and Kitchen design.
The most common of these is known as a “Belfast” sink but there are others available giving a more useful sink to enhance modern day living.
