With the weather being so lovely, light evenings seem longer, the smell of freshly cut grass, the beautiful hedgerows, the stars at night, all of nature’s beauty which we normally just take for granted, lockdown time has given us that back time to enjoy those precious things in life!!.

I for one have been experimenting in the kitchen cooking delicious healthy meals. As well as Apricot flapjack, a little naughty but a tasty delicious snack, which we both enjoy! 

Following a healthy lifestyle is so important as not being able to socialize, our immune system will be lower than normal. So fresh fruit and vegetables and not processed foods are a good start.

Daily walking or sitting outside for a short while catching the vitamin D the sun provides is another essential daily activity to ensure we look after ourselves.
