Hot Sunny Days!

We really have had a wonderful few weeks of summer, hot sunny days going into the evening with still warmth in the air a perfect time to be outside with family and friends enjoying outside cooking on the BBQ with not a thought for the kitchen.

But now the evenings are drawing in, the evening a little chilly and we find ourselves inside again. Perhaps now, as we stand in the most important room in the home and look around we notice our kitchen is looking a little tired and feeling like it needs to be updated and given a new lease of life “ A NEW KITCHEN”, one you will be proud to invite family and friends.

But with monies having to stretch in all directions how is that possible?

The Snow Drops and Daffodils are beginning to show themselves and with the mild weather, we are experiencing it is not hard to think about spring being around the corner.

Spring is a time when we feel good about the year ahead and may even start to think about improving our homes inside or out. January and the New Year.

We have got off to a great start to our New Year. We have started a new business called Perfect Pods and we have just finished our demonstrator Pod. We are now able to welcome anyone interested, to book a day and time to come over and enjoy a coffee with us in the Pod and hopefully tell their friends about us.

With South West Fitted Kitchens LTD we are getting enquiries now to see potential clients for visits to their homes. The weather is even beginning to look up now for the next week, so roll on spring!

Winters Approaching.

Winter is here, with cold mornings and dark evenings it’s a time to stay indoors spending time with family and friends.

As Christmas fast approaches many of us will be looking forward to celebrating all the season has to offer with our loved ones.

As I have such an interest in cooking, I am never happier than when I am in the kitchen preparing food ready for family gatherings.

As a company, we will be reflecting back on all the kitchens we have created for our clients during this year and in the past, wishing them all a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

In 2022 We will be looking forward to meeting and being welcomed into the homes of our new potential clients and working with them to create their new dream kitchen, a room that is the heart of their home.

Healthy Eating.

How amazing would it be to make homemade bread in your new kitchen, nothing smells nicer than freshly brewed coffee or the smell of fresh baking.

This is something I have started to do and so far I have not been disappointed!

With summer fast approaching, planned days out with family and friends, there is nothing better than freshly homemade bread to make sandwiches and a slice of cake possibly still warm just out of the oven.

We all need to keep our immune system as high as possible as we start to mix with family and 

Friends, so knowing what is in the food we eat and that it is fresh and if possible growing your own produce from home. Fruit and vegetables with no preservatives is the best, unfortunately, not all of us have the time or outside space, so sourcing produce from local farmers markets, farm shops or neighbours with more than they need is a good start.

Changes

After so many changes during the last year, there are many companies suffering from premises being closed due to Government guidelines.

South West Fitted Kitchens Ltd, has been very lucky, during this time, as an internet-based business with our potential clients still being able to reach us.

We are now very busy again as we are coming out of lockdown and people are now looking to make changes to their homes.

Do you work from home?

As many people are now working from home, We thought we would use this blog to remind past and future clients that we can also provide the complete perfect work from home environment by turning any existing spare rooms or bedrooms into a home office or study. 

The fitted bedroom furniture can also serve a dual purpose with the office desk etc hidden behind doors that can be closed at the end of the working day.

New Fitters blog Part 2

The two new fitters have completed their first 3 months and the client feedback has been really positive and our own inspections have proved to us that they have done a great job.

With the New Year just around the corner, we are looking forward to another exciting and successful year at South West Fitted Kitchens LTD.

Despite the Covid 19 situation, in 2020, we have had another successful year. We are very lucky with the fact that we do not have a showroom and our potential clients are happy for us to come to them to show them what we have to offer and how we can transform their kitchen or Bedroom. This has meant we have been able to adapt quite easily to the current situation and not have the large overheads associated with running a showroom.

New Fitters blog

We have had exciting news this week. We have been approached by two excellent fitters who would like to start fitting for South West Fitted Kitchens LTD at the end of September 2020.

Ray has worked alongside these two guys in the past and knows that they work to the very high standard that our clients have come to expect from a South West Fitted Kitchens LTD Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom.

The two new guys are going to be a very welcome addition to the team here at South West Fitted Kitchens LTD and will allow us to take on more work and keep our lead times shorter making for a happier client experience.

Jaynes blog

With the weather being so lovely, light evenings seem longer, the smell of freshly cut grass, the beautiful hedgerows, the stars at night, all of nature’s beauty which we normally just take for granted, lockdown time has given us that back time to enjoy those precious things in life!!.

I for one have been experimenting in the kitchen cooking delicious healthy meals. As well as Apricot flapjack, a little naughty but a tasty delicious snack, which we both enjoy! 

Following a healthy lifestyle is so important as not being able to socialize, our immune system will be lower than normal. So fresh fruit and vegetables and not processed foods are a good start.

Daily walking or sitting outside for a short while catching the vitamin D the sun provides is another essential daily activity to ensure we look after ourselves.

Lock Down blog May 2020

During this time we feel we are all so worried about our current situation that it is easy to forget the positives during Covid 19 lockdown, ok we have had our freedom taken away from us for now but we look forward to better times ahead. 

Just sitting in our beautiful garden writing this, we feel so thankful for the extra time that Ray and I not only get to spend together but how we can turn so many negatives into positives, time is such a precious thing.

We have been able to spend time updating our website, especially with our new Virtual Showroom page which offers a selection of the 3D visuals we have had commissioned for past and current clients. 

We are also looking into new projects for us to be able to offer our clients past and future more ways to enjoy their homes.

Corona Virus Update!

With all the uncertainty at the moment due to Coronavirus, one thing for sure is that while we are taking the governments ruling very seriously,  we will ensure that we as a company will keep ourselves and our potential clients safe.

As an internet-based company, we are not only using this time to make our website stronger and visually more attractive and informative, but we will make sure that we not only offer the lastest in colour palettes available and will continue to provide new door styles as they become available.

All the while keeping clients with the traditional preferences happy too, with ranges to suit all tastes and budgets.

With all of the above in mind, we have just placed a large order for 32 doors in a new range now available. 

We are very excited to be able to present these to our new inquires, once it is safe again to come out to your home, giving you the personal service that we pride ourselves in.
